Pikuzone is a walled garden where a parent manages electronic communication between their children and friends and family deemed appropriate by the parent. All emails not meeting this setup are kept away from the child’s mailbox. For example, if you define two children, Joe and Jane and setup Joe to talk with Mom and Dad and Jane to talk with Dad, any emails from anywhere else, even president@whitehouse.gov will be undelivered to the children’s mailboxes.

Any parent, 18-years or older can sign-up as a parent to use the service. Once the parent account is confirmed, the parent can sign-up as many children as desired under their account.

COPPA, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act is a United States Law, signed on April 21, 2000 requires Verifiable Parental Consent, before making services available to children or collecting any information about children. As such, we cannot provide children with the ability to self-signup for this site. We have chosen to require parental consent for use of this site for all children, regardless of their or their parents' country of residence.

Pikuzone costs $12 per child per year. Parents pay via credit cards when signing up each child

Quite simply – we keep all SPAM and unapproved emails out of your children’s view. We do not deliver advertising, spam, adult oriented material etc. from unknown senders on the Internet. Other than a Pikuzone footer identifying the message came secured by Pikuzone at the end of each message, no marketing or advertising footers, graphics or materials are added by us to the child’s view.

Pikuzone is a walled garden for your kids – as such many email “features” are removed, such as your kids ability to email anyone, anywhere. Kids can send or receive emails ONLY from those email addresses that you’ve previously approved for their list.

We do not ask children for any information - their email address, their nickname, their gender and their contacts are all controlled by the parent only. The site contains only the information you provide and we store it fully encrypted. When setting up an email account for your child, we ask for their email address of choice, a nickname, a gender and a password. You do not have to use the child’s real name as their email address or nickname. The gender allows us to personalize the site for your child’s color preference – pink/turquoise hues for girls and blue/green hues for boys.

We log and permanently store the IP addresses from which you/your children access our site. This is necessary for us to keep security and access logs. We also store whether you logged in successfully or were rejected at login. We store, via web server logs, the time of your access, the pages you accessed and how long you stayed on the site.

All emails are kept for a minimum of 1-year unless deleted by the parent or child from the mailbox. Deleted emails are not archived and are not recoverable after deletion.

Your child to whom the email was addressed and you the parent. Though we, as developers of the site can technically retrieve the emails, we store them encrypted and do not, as a matter of corporate policy, review any emails.

Please check for the verification link in your spam/junk mail folder. Sometimes email providers mark messages incorrectly as spam. You can also add info@Pikuzone.com to your address book as a valid address

Yes. Credit card information is captured when you type it in, encrypted and compressed into a token and transmitted encrypted over the Internet to our credit card processor, Stripe. Pikuzone does not store your credit card, expiration date, CVV or any card related information at any time.
